DWG IFilter troubleshooter Please review the support files in the Help folder of your DWG IFilter install. Q. My install fails before completion. Do you have administrator rights? If not, please contact us to help you solve your issue. Q. My indexing product tries to index files but I cannot get any result on content for any of those files. Did your indexing tool pick up the changes? Restart the service or restart the system to ensure product registration to complete. Did your trial period run out? Did you previously run a DWG IFilter trial? We cannot help when your trial ran out; you will need to purchase a license - or run your trial on a different system. Check indexing. Is your indexing tool active? Are target folders enabled for indexing? Check Config. Configurator tool needs to be run at least once. Run configurator and reindex some files, and see if this has helped. Check if IFilter can be called. Check application log in the event viewer to see if any entries appear for DWG IFilter. If none appear, check path variable to contain the bin folder where DWG IFilter is located. Did DWG IFilter register itself correctly and place itself in the system Path variable? Use test tools as instaled with DWG IFilter. Does it generate text from the test files? If not, do they display errors? Check wich errrors are visible in application log in the event viewer. Errors about unable to create or access temp file have all to do with access rights. Usually you need to allow read/write for SYSTEM, IUSR_, LOCAL SERVICE and/or NETWORK SERVICE accounts - C:\temp\dwgifilter set rights on this folder Still no clue to solve the issue?
