DWG IFilter 2007 - Support Pages & FAQ

 

At this time (july 2007) the current version of DWG IFilter 2007 only supports 32 bit operation.
We hope to develop the 64bit version later this year – although we have not planned time and resources to start this development.

In the field of IFilter development there have been many questions on 64 bit – mainly questions on how to index the popular PDF file format in 64 bit MOSS.
Many third party IFilter developers have trouble addressing the new requirements, so especially when also using other third party IFilters in your farm, there is a good suggestion to install your indexing server as 32 bit.
